3. DONATIONS AND CONTRIBUTION RULES

All contributions made through this website are subject to the rules of the District of Columbia Office of Campaign Finance (OCF) and the Fair Elections Program. By donating, you confirm that:

You are a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (green card holder).
You are making this contribution from your own funds, not provided by another person or entity.
You are at least 18 years old.
Fair Elections Compliance: Your contribution is from an individual, not a business entity (Corporation, LLC, Partnership) or a Political Action Committee (PAC).

Donations are processed by third-party vendors (e.g., ActBlue). Contributions are not tax-deductible.

4. MOBILE MESSAGING (SMS) TERMS

By opting in to receive text messages from Talib Karim Muhammad for Mayor of Washington, DC, you agree to the following:

Consent: You consent to receive voter contact, donation requests, and informational messages (e.g., campaign updates, GOTV alerts) via automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or donation.
Opt-Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send "STOP", we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.
Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or get help directly at info@talibfordc.com.
Carrier Liability: Carriers (e.g., AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Rates and Frequency: Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies; you may receive messages daily as we approach the election, but generally no more than twice a week.
