3. Donations and Contribution Rules

All contributions made through this website are subject to the rules of the District of Columbia Office of Campaign Finance (OCF) and the Fair Elections Program. By donating, you confirm that:

1. You are a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).

2. You are making this contribution from your own funds, and funds are not being provided to you by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.

3. You are at least 18 years old.

4. Your contribution is not from a business entity (corporation, LLC, partnership) or a Political Action Committee (PAC), as the Campaign participates in the Fair Elections Program.
    

Donations are processed by third-party vendors (e.g., ActBlue). When you make a donation, you are also subject to their specific terms of service and privacy policies. Contributions are not tax-deductible.
 

4. Mobile Messaging (SMS) Terms

By subscribing to Talib for DC mobile alerts (e.g., by texting a keyword or filling out a signup form), you agree to the following:

• Consent: You consent to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages (e.g., campaign updates, GOTV alerts, donation requests) from Talib for DC at the mobile number provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or donation.

• Frequency: Message frequency will vary.

• Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.

• Opt-Out: You can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation text stating you have been opted out.

• Help: For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at the email below.

• Carrier Liability: Carriers (e.g., AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
